A diverse city, green and urban, colonial and modern, in the historic center of Bogota, also called 'La Candelaria' is the Gold Museum, where you can see nearly 34,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic gold and more than 25,000 pre-Columbian objects.
We will begin our tour after having breakfast at the hotel. Our first destination is the Municipality of Guatavita, located 75 kilometers from Bogota, towards the Northeast. In the ancient times of the Muisca civilization, Guatavita was the religious capital of the Zipa domains. The main tourist attraction of the place is La Laguna, globally known for the legend of 'El Dorado' that spread throughout America during the Conquest.

We leave in the morning towards the Botanical Garden of Quindío, which has the most complete butterfly garden in Colombia, with a beautiful design in the shape of a 'crystal wings' butterfly integrated into the natural space in the 15-hectare forest. The garden has 1,500 butterflies of 40 different species, some endemic to the coffee area.
