We begin our journey to the charming district of Santa Elena, the birthplace of the silleteros. During the journey, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Antioquian mountains while you disconnect from the urban rhythm and connect with the soul of the countryside.


🌳 First stop: Arví Park – Living nature and local flavors


Our first experience will be at the Arví Park Natural Reserve, a green lung full of biodiversity. There, we will take a light walk along trails surrounded by native forests and visit the famous farmers market, where you can buy fresh produce, handicrafts, and typical delicacies directly from local producers.


💐 Finca Silletera El Pensamiento – A flourishing tradition


Then, we will arrive at the beautiful El Pensamiento farm, where the silletero farmers will greet you with a warm welcome and a delicious canelazo, a traditional drink that warms the soul. The best begins here:

  • Walk through orchards and gardens filled with multicolored flowers.
  • Listen to the stories of the silleteros and learn about their lives and cultural heritage.

Does the silleta owe its name to its shape and the use it was given years ago? This was used as a means of transportation by the silleteros to go down from the mountains to Medellin, carrying their flowers and people.

Around 9:00 a.m., we will pick you up at a meeting point to take you to the heart of the party: the iconic Silleteros Parade, the jewel of the Flower Festival.

🎁 To ensure you experience this authentic Paisa experience, you'll receive a special souvenir: a poncho and a traditional hat, perfect for feeling part of this cultural celebration.

  • The Silleteros parade ends around 4:30 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Please take this date and time into account for your return flights to your country, considering that this event is unique to the flower fair and is the closing event of the fair.
  • In the case of booking international air tickets you must pay 100% of the value of the tickets

  • To guarantee the reservation, payments must be made on the stipulated dates, through one of the enabled payment methods. In case of non-compliance with your payment, Caminos de Colombia may cancel all the services of your reservation and apply the corresponding penalty detailed in changes and cancellations.
  • The tour is a shared service, if the minimum operation or minimum capacity is not reached, the personalized tour service will be offered for registered people with an increase prior to the client's authorization.
  • It is recommended that travelers wear comfortable clothing, since in some places they may have to walk, as well as sunglasses and sunscreen.

  • The Hotel will reserve the right to apply a charge for the value of one night to those passengers who wish to register before 3:00 p.m., after verifying the hotel's availability. Also applicable for Late Check-Out in those cases in which people wish to leave after 12:00 p.m.
  • The Hotel will reserve the right to apply a charge corresponding to one night's accommodation at the contracted rate when a passenger, while at the Hotel, wishes to advance their departure date to the one confirmed in the reservation.
  • For air tickets, penalties apply according to the policies of each airline.
